Don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead this weekend for Daylight Saving Time.
Starting at 2 a.m. Sunday,March 8, clocks will turn forward by one hour, which means we will lose an hour of sleep.
The change brings back extended daylight during the evening hours.
The days will keep getting longer through the summer solstice on Saturday, June 20.
Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 1, 2020, when we’ll set our clocks back an hour and gain back that hour of sleep.
As a reminder, firefighters say Daylight Saving Time is a great excuse to check the batteries in all your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
