India ascends to 100th spot in FIFA rankings in 21 years

NEW DELHI: The Indian football group has bounced up a place to be positioned 100th interestingly in more than two decades in the most recent FIFA rankings discharged today.
Without precedent for a long time and just the 6th time after Independence, the national football group has found a place in main 100 of FIFA rankings.
This is India’s best-ever FIFA positioning since April 1996 when they were additionally positioned 100. India’s most elevated FIFA Ranking till date has been 94, accomplished in February 1996.
