China launches 3 remote sensing satellites

ISRO effectively released a record 104 satellites consisting of India’s earth observation satellite on-board PSLV-C37/ Cartosat2.

BEIJING: China today released 3 remote picking up satellites developed to enhance observation ability to promote industrial usage for the remote noticing market.

The 3 satellites– Jilin-1 04, Jilin-1 05 and Jilin-1 06– were released from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in China’s northern Shanxi Province.

It was the 3rd launch of the Jilin-1 satellite household, a remote noticing system of more than 60 satellites established by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd, state-run Xinhua news company reported.

The system will be utilized for broad imaging, video imaging and multispectral imaging. Remote noticing information will serve administrations and business consumers.

Today’s satellites were brought by a Long March-6 rocket, a brand-new generation of liquid-fuelled carrier rocket established by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

The launch is the 2nd objective of the 255th flight and the long march-6 performed with the Long-March series of carrier rockets.
